FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Yes. The NZeTA is a multiple-entry travel authority, so US citizens can re-enter New Zealand as many times as they wish while it remains valid. There is no need to apply again between trips during the authority's lifetime.
A New Zealand eTA for US travellers is valid for up to 2 years from approval, or until the passport expires, whichever comes first. Within that time you can come and go freely, subject to the usual stay limits: up to 90 days per visit and no more than 6 months in any 12-month period. The one situation that requires a fresh application is renewing or replacing your passport, because the NZeTA is linked electronically to a specific passport. When your two years are up, simply apply for a new NZeTA before your next visit.
