FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
If you notice a mistake in your application, act quickly. Small errors — such as a mistyped passport number, an incorrect date of birth or a wrong email address — can stop your NZeTA from matching your passport at the border, so they are worth correcting straight away.
The best step is to contact our customer service team as soon as possible, ideally before the application has been processed, and we will advise you on how to fix it. In some cases the detail can be corrected; in others, where the application has already been approved with the wrong information, a new application may be needed, because the NZeTA is tied electronically to the exact passport details submitted. To avoid this altogether, always review every field against your passport before you pay and submit. If in doubt, reach out to us and we will help you put it right.
