FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Registering for your NZeTA is quick and completely online — there is no need to visit an embassy or consulate. Have your passport and a payment card ready, then follow three simple steps: complete the application form, pay the NZeTA fee and the International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL), and submit your application for review.
You will be asked for your passport details, contact information and basic travel plans, and you can add several travellers to the same application if you are travelling as a family or group. After you submit, most applications are approved within 72 hours and the result is sent to your email, linked electronically to your passport. To begin, start your NZeTA application, and if you would like a walkthrough of each field first, see our application form guide.
