When you arrive in New Zealand, proceed through passport control as you normally would. Because your NZeTA is linked electronically to your passport, the border officer can see your authorisation as soon as your passport is scanned — there is usually nothing extra to hand over, though it is wise to have your approval email available just in case.
You will also need to have completed your New Zealand Traveller Declaration (NZTD), which covers customs and biosecurity, and you must truthfully declare any items that require it, such as certain foods, plant material or used outdoor equipment. New Zealand's biosecurity rules are strict, so when in doubt, declare. After clearing the border you are free to enjoy your visit within the conditions of your NZeTA.
